7 Best Android games of 2019!

PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 9: Legends, and Alto’s Odyssey are just a few of the great Android titles released in 2018. We expect to see many more in the near future as 2019 ramps up from well-known developers like Bethesda, Gamevil, and Butterscotch Shenanigans.

Here are the 7 best Android games we’re most excited about, in categories like adventure, action, racing, and more.

 1. Payday: Crime War

Already a popular first-person shooter on PC and consoles, Payday is coming to Android. Payday Crime War is a multiplayer, team-based PvP title. One team takes on the role of criminals trying to perform a robbery. The other team steps into the shoes of a SWAT team trying to prevent the crime.

Up to eight players can play in a match, which can happen in different locations. As you progress through the game, you can get new weapons and additional abilities to step up your game.

Overkill Software set up a website for the upcoming game, claiming it’s coming soon. An exact date has not been shared with the public yet. However, the developer is already testing out the game with a closed beta program, which hopefully means it won’t be long before it’s released.

These are the some of best upcoming Android games to keep an eye out for, though we’re sure plenty of other interesting titles will debut this year.

2. Stardew Valley

Popular indie title Stardew Valley debuted on PC in 2016, coming to Xbox One and PS4 later that year. The game’s story goes like this: you have inherited your grandfather’s old farm plot in Stardew Valley and your job is to transform it into the farm of your dreams.

You can raise animals, grow crops, and craft useful machines for your farm, as well as mingle with the locals, and even meet your future wife and start a family. Check out the trailer above to see what the game looks like in action.

Stardew Valley is already available on iOS. It goes for $7.99 with no in-app purchases. The game is coming to Android as well, but the developer has not yet revealed when. It’s also unclear if it will take the same approach as the iOS version or deliver a free-to-play solution.

3.The Elder Scrolls: Blades

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a first-person role-playing game. You play as a member of the Blades who, after being forced into exile, must restore their hometown from the rubble. You can create and customize your city, take on friends and rivals in epic one-on-one battles, discover unique weapons, armor, and abilities, and much more.

Developer Bethesda Softworks released a trailer (above), which looks gorgeous. The light glimmers realistically off swords and shields, and the small details in the dungeons, castles, and mountains of the game’s environment create a great sense of atmosphere. The environments rendered in the game are said to be console quality.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades was initially scheduled to debut this fall, but Bethesda, unfortunately, pushed back the release to “early 2019.” The title will be free to play and we assume it will offer plenty of in-app purchases, though this has not been confirmed yet. The game is already listed on the Play Store, where you can sign up to get notified once it goes live.

4. Hamsterdam

In this game, you step into the shoes of Pimm, a cute hamster on a mission. The evil chinchilla Marlo and his Vermin gang have turned the once peaceful city of Hamsterdam into a dangerous place. They control the population using Marlo Tonic and have abducted Pimm’s grandpa, a former hamster-fu master. Your job is to restore the peace to Hamsterdam and save your grandfather.

You can personalize the main character with different outfits and accessories, ride across town on a scooter, and more. Check out the short and entertaining trailer above to learn more about the upcoming Android game.

The developer is launching Hamsterdam with the help of crowdfunding. Using Indiegogo and Kickstarter, it raised over $30,000. The game is expected to be released in March, but a demo version is already available — get it via the button below.

5. Bad North

Bad North is a real-time strategy game with beautiful, minimalist graphics. You take on the role of a prince, whose island has been invaded by Vikings. Your mission is to fend them off with the help of an army that’s in your total control.

In Bad North, positioning is everything.

The game is all about positioning. You have to place your army at the right spots across the battlefield to come out on top. You also have to react quickly and know when to retreat to avoid defeat. Once you win a battle, you take on a new one on a different island, each of which has a unique layout.

Bad North is already available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The developer says it will come to Android in 2019, but didn’t give a more specific timeframe.

6. H1Z1

H1Z1 is a battle royale game, similar to PUBG and Fortnite. You jump out of an airplane with up to 150 other players and start looking for guns, ammo, and other supplies once you land. Then it’s time to go on the hunt and take down as many opponents as possible. The last one standing wins.

The play zone gets smaller and smaller throughout the game, bringing players closer together and making sure you’re always on your toes. Just like in PUBG, there are vehicles available so you can get from place to place faster. You can play solo or team up with one or even four other players.

H1Z1 isn’t as popular as PUBG or Fortnite, but it still has millions of devoted fans. It’s free to play and available on PS4 and PC. The company has confirmed a mobile version is in the works, but there are no details on when it’s coming.

7. Project Cars GO

Project Cars, a popular racing game on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, is getting a mobile spin-off. Called Project Cars GO, it will come with loads of exotic cars and tons of customization options, just like the PC and console versions.

Project Cars is known for an authentic racing experience, and the mobile version promises just that. The game has sold over two million copies worldwide so far and is one of the best of its kind in my opinion.

Gamevil and Slightly Mad Studios are developing the game, but there’s no word on the release date. Slightly Mad Studios CEO Ian Bell said racing fans will be “stomping the gas pedal and burning rubber very soon,” which makes us think it won’t be long until Project Cars GO makes its debut. When it does, it will give all the other titles on our list of best upcoming Android games a run for their money.

Apex Legends: 13 Key Tips for Starting Out | gamingtechno11

Apex Legends: 13 Key Tips for Starting Out

Apex Legends is gaming’s latest battle royale craze, and with 10 million players who have already jumped in since launch, you’ll probably want to check it out.

Respawn’s a new free-to-play shooter for PS4, Xbox One and PC puts an exciting spin on the formula popularized by games like Fortnite and PUBG, but it can also be incredibly daunting for both newcomers and genre vets alike thanks to its unique focus on team play and class-based character powers.

Whether you’re jumping into Apex Legends for the first time or are just tired of getting shredded at the beginning of every match, here are some handy tips for getting started.

Stick with your squad

This is key for any team-based shooter, but staying near your teammates is especially crucial in Apex Legends. You’ll fare much better in a firefight as a unit, and will have an easier time reviving your friends -- or grabbing they're respawn tag after they die -- if you stay close. Also, don’t be a renegade and break away from your team during the initial jump onto the map.

Communicate constantly

Communication is the absolute most important part of Apex Legends, and the game makes it incredibly easy to do so without even saying a word. Using the game’s Ping system, you can mark spots on the map and call out enemies and gun locations by simply aiming and tapping a button (R1 on PS4, RB on Xbox One, middle mouse on PC).

See an enemy in the distance? Tag them. See a weapon you don’t need but your teammates might? Mark it. Need your squadmates to get to the inside of the circle before the storm swallows you whole? Ping a location and get them moving.

Get to know your Legends

Apex Legends is unique from other battle royale games in that it has eight unique characters that each boast distinct abilities, such as the vanishing ninja Wraith or the walking shield Gibraltar. Try them all out to get a feel for their abilities and see who fits your style best.

Getting comfortable with the whole roster is important for two reasons: you’ll want a backup plan when someone else picks your favorite Legend, and you’ll have an easier time dealing with enemy squads when you know what each character can do.

Choose your team wisely

Because Apex Legends’ characters are all so distinct, you and your teammates should think carefully about choosing a three-person squad whose abilities complement one another. For example, choosing a well-balanced team with an attacker like Bangalore, a healer like Lifeline and a defender like Gibraltar will give you many more options than if all three of you rush in with attack characters. Keep experimenting and find a team that feels right.

Get to know the map and land carefully

Like with any battle royale game, mastering Apex Legends’ map and choosing the right landing spot is key to success. Dense areas filled with buildings and supply crates are likely to yield more loot, but they’re also more likely to be packed with other players. You should always aim to get good loot, but if you see a ton of players dropping toward a particular spot, you might want to go somewhere slightly less populated to start.

Also, when scanning the in-game map both before and after you land, be mindful of a few key icons. Those big green things are Respawn Beacons where you can bring back fallen teammates, so you’ll want to be near one whenever you think things will get hairy. The in-game map will also call out hot zones (big blue circles), supply drops (small blue circles) and supply ships (ship icon), which will all yield high-tier loot but will also likely be packed with enemies.

Slide like a pro

Like many modern shooters, Apex Legends lets you slide by tapping the crouch button while running. However, Respawn takes the slide mechanic further by factoring in both your momentum and terrain, meaning that you’ll slide longer if you’re moving faster and are going downhill. Take advantage of this feature to quickly get down slopes, stairs and hills -- it could save you from a heated firefight or the closing walls of the arena, and will get you to that precious loot-filled building even faster.

Move faster by holstering

You’ll run faster in Apex Legends when your gun is holstered, and you can put it away by simply holding the Triangle or Y button. This speed boost is especially key for escaping a closing circle or getting away from a firefight gone south.

Don’t worry about fall damage

There’s no fall damage in Apex Legends, so don’t be afraid to jump off of a building or steep cliff if things are going sour or if you need to get to your next destination quickly.

Drop items for teammates

If you want to drop a weapon, stock, medkit or any other item for a teammate to grab (or just want to clear inventory space), simply press the Options (PS4) or Menu (Xbox One) button, hover over that item and select drop.

Know your colors

Like in many loot-based games, knowing what colors mean what is an essential part of Apex Legends. The game has four tiers of items ranging from worst to best: white, blue, purple and gold. So if you see a purple or gold weapon, attachment or piece of armor, snatch it up immediately.

This system also comes into play during a firefight, as the color of the damage numbers that pop out of an enemy while you shoot them will indicate what level of armor they have. Red means they have no armor, white means they have level 1, blue means they have level 2, purple means they have level 3 and gold means they have level 4. If you notice that your foe has high-level armor, you might want to wait before rushing in at them.

Respawn your teammates

When your teammate gets eliminated, you’ll have a 90-second window to grab their tag (marked in green on the game’s HUD) and bring them back into the fight at a Respawn Beacon (marked in green on the game’s map). Note that your teammate will be redeployed into the battle with no gear so you might want to have some ready to drop for them when they come back. Using a Respawn Beacon also leaves you vulnerable for a few seconds, so make sure the area is clear or that you have someone watching your back when initiating a respawn.

Use your alternate fire modes

Some weapons in the game have alternate fire modes, which will be indicated by a left d-pad icon next to the weapon in the bottom right of your HUD. Naturally, if you want to switch modes, simply tap left on your d-pad.

You can kick open doors

If you want to really make an entrance, you can kick open any door by pressing the melee button (right stick on a console, V on PC). Doing so will allow you to knock back any unsuspecting enemies waiting by the door. Plus, it’ll just make you feel badass.

Apex Legends: Everything You Need to Know About 2019's Hottest Game | gamingtechno11

Apex Legends: Everything You Need to Know About 2019's Hottest Game

EA surprised many with the sudden announcement of Apex Legends, a new free-to-play battle royale shooter that sees the publisher going toe-to-toe with genre mammoths PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite Battle Royale.

Developed by Respawn Entertainment and set in the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends is a squad-based battle royale shooter where teams of three go up against 57 other players to try to gather loot and be the last person (or squad) standing.

However, unlike Fortnite and PUBG, Apex Legends sees players take on one of eight classes, each represented by a unique character. (Imagine Fortnite mixed with Overwatch and you’ll be on the right track.)

Whether that sounds like your kind of gaming or not, it's clear Apex Legends is going from strength to strength. It managed to reach a million players in its first eight hours and it's now amassed 10 million players in three days.

That's good going. Really good going. Particularly when you consider that it took Fortnite two weeks (a fortnight!) to reach those same numbers. Similarly, it took Fortnite 24 hours to accrue a million players, compared to eight hours for EA’s shooter.

Do we have another Fortnite on our hands? Let's not get ahead of ourselves and instead let's take a look at everything we know about Apex Legends.

Best free games: the top free games to download on PC
Cut to the chase
What is it? A free-to-play battle royale shooter set in the Titanfall universe
When can I play it? Available to play for free now
What can I play it on? Xbox One, PS4, and PC

What makes Apex Legends different from other battle royale games like Fortnite?

You’ll still be dropping onto an island and scavenging for gear, but Apex Legends stands out from the battle royale pack in a few ways. For one, the game is entirely team based -- there’s no solo mode for you lone wolves out there. Every match consists of 20 teams of three battling to be the last group remaining, and the game offers a ton of in-game tools for communicating enemy and weapon locations even if you don’t have a mic handy.

Apex Legends is also unique in that it offers eight distinct Legends (or characters), each with their own unique abilities and special moves. For example, Wraith is a ninja-like soldier who can go invisible and create portals, while Gibraltar is a walking tank that can protect his teammates with an energy shield. This makes Apex Legends more akin to a hero shooter such as Overwatch, as you and your squad will have to think carefully about picking a team whose abilities complement one another.

Fittingly, Respawn’s new shooter is also made unique by the fact that characters can, well, respawn. When a player dies, they’ll drop a Respawn Beacon, which a teammate can pick up and bring to a respawn station to bring them back into the fight. This further separates Apex Legends from the rest of the battle royale crop, and truly drives home how important teamwork is in this game.

What characters can I play as?

Apex Legends currently has eight playable Legends: the soldier Bangalore, the tech-focused Bloodhound; the toxic bomb-wielding Caustic; the heavily shielded Gibraltar, the medic Lifeline, the hologram-wielding Mirage, the robotic scout Pathfinder; and the teleporting Wraith. All of the game’s characters come unlocked aside from Caustic and Mirage, who can be unlocked with either Coins or Legend Tokens (more on those later).

Considering that Respawn plans to support the game over a long period of time, it’s safe to assume we’ll see more Legends show up eventually.

Do Apex Legends have seasons and battle passes?

Yep -- much like Fortnite, Apex Legends will have unique seasons, as well as Battle, Passes you can purchase to unlock around 100 new cosmetic rewards based on your performance.

EA says that the first season will start in March, though it’s not yet clear which items you’ll be able to get from the Battle Pass just yet or how much the Battle Pass will cost. Seasons are expected to last around three months each and will bring with them new Legends, weapons and cosmetics.

You can also expect plenty of limited-time events in Apex Legends. Respawn released special loot for its Valentine's Day event, and we wouldn't be surprised to see more chances to snag limited-time loot throughout the year.

What kinds of microtransactions and in-game currencies are there?

As a free-to-play game, Apex Legends has a variety of in-game currencies that you can both earn as well as spend real money on. However, it’s important to note that all of Apex’s unlockables are cosmetic-based, so there’s no way to pay real money to get an in-game advantage.

The game has three main in-game currencies: Apex Coins, Legend Tokens, and Crafting Metals. Apex Coins are the game’s premium currency and can be used to buy Apex Packs (the game’s version of loot boxes), Legends and shop items such as character and weapon skins.

Legend Tokens are earned by leveling up in-game, and can be used to purchase Legends. Crafting Metals are found in Apex Packs, and can be combined to craft things such as weapon and character skins.

Does Apex Legends play like Titanfall?

Despite being a Respawn game and being set in the same universe, Apex Legends is a very distinct experience from Titanfall. The first and most obvious difference is that there are no Titans, the lumbering, powerful mechs that players can pilot in the Titanfall series. Secondly, many of Titanfall’s movement mechanics, such as wallrunning, aren’t present here.

That being said, it quickly becomes apparent that Apex is a Respawn game. Running, sliding, climbing and shooting simply feel fluid and satisfying in a similar way that Titanfall does, and the game’s myriad of unique player abilities, from smoke bombs to invisibility, bring Respawn’s previous shooter to mind.

How can I get better at Apex Legends?

Like most battle royale titles, Apex Legends has a bit of a learning curve, and it can be easy to get discouraged when you're dying quickly during your first few matches. Fret not, we're here to help. Here are our latest Apex Legends guides, whether you're looking for general tips or are trying to figure out the best characters and weapons to use:

Player Unknown Battleground Mobile recomended system requirements | gamingtechno11

Player Unknown Battleground Mobile recommended system requirements

Now, PUBG is an online game which has taken the world and the internet on a storm. Now, going back to a little history, the game was first launched on Microsoft Windows back in March last year and has since been made available for major gaming consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4. But, PUBG truly gained its new heights and broke every record when it was made available for smartphone platforms i.e. Android and iOS. Now, if we go by the numbers, then the game has as many as 100 million downloads on Android so far!

However, even with its enormous popularity, there may be some smartphone users out there who haven't even downloaded PUBG Mobile. And if you are someone who is on this list, but now you want to know what the hype is. Then download the game on your smartphone device immediately! But before you leave, do you think you should know whether the game will work on your device or not? Although the game is completely free to download. This is a top class game and requires certain requirements. So, don't scratch your head because it keeps you protected. As in this article, I will mention PUBG Mobile
requirements for Android and iOS.

PUBG Mobile Requirements for Android:

So, if you have an Android device (smartphone or tablet), the game will require Android version 5.1.1 or above. As far as hardware requirements go, your device should minimum have 2GB of RAM and almost an equal amount of space to run the game properly. Click here if your android meets the above requirements and if you want to download and play PUBG Mobile.

PUBG Mobile Requirements for iOS:

Now, PUBG Mobile is indeed compatible with a variety of Apple devices. This includes the iPhone XS Max, iPhone 5S, and all other iPhones in between. It is also compatible with most iPads, starting from the iPad 2 to the latest iPad Pro (2018). But the requirement is that your device must be running iOS 9.0 or whatever version of it. Clichere if your android meets the above requirements and if you want to download and play PUBG Mobile.

Suggestions for a Better Gaming Experience of PUBG Mobile:

·         Now, keep your phone charged by at least 20%. As the long-running average game will reduce your charge by about 10%. Also, if you are playing the game continuously then do make sure you are playing it without the mobile cover. Because there are chances your phone might get heated.

·         Another recommendation is that, if you are playing the game on your smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth keyboard or joypad, then your game control will get better. As for the majority of people, touch controls don’t work properly for FPS games. So, Bluetooth keyboard or joypad is a smart solution.

·         This recommendation will surely be the one that many players already follow. But if not then, if you get tired from playing, just hide in the grass, this way other players will not notice you.

So, above were the minimum requirements of PUBG Mobile for both Android and iOS. Now, bear in mind, that the mentioned specification is just the minimum requirements. So for a better and smooth gaming experience, you need maybe 4 GB Ram for Android devices. And for iOS devices, the iPhone 7 or above will give a better gaming experience than the older version of Apple devices. And also apart from requirements, PUBG is an online multiplayer game, so for it to run smoothly, the game needs a good and stable internet connection.
